The Most Expensive Car in the World.
We’ve all dreamed of owning a supercar at some point in our lives. Though, in reality, the chances of doing so are relatively slim.
You see for the most part, such luxury beasts cost what most regular professional earns in 10 years, slaving away at a 9-5 job. Exotic cars are usually only viable options for wealthy businessmen and women, socialites, sports professionals or royalty. However, there are other ways in which normal people have been able to get their hands on some of the world’s finest supercars.
Track days have been fantastic ways for car enthusiasts to live out their dreams of driving fast cars around race circuits. And although none of the cars available are any from Autobytel list of the 10 most expensive cars in the world, in 2015, they are still better than the usual run of the mill family car.
The current most expensive car in the world is the Ferrari LaFerrari. This supercar will cost you a staggering $1.46 million to buy. There have been a limited number of them made, very few are in showrooms due how expensive they are and because of safety concerns. However, there is one showroom that houses the Ferrari LaFerrari on a regular basis.
In the legendary Wynn resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip, they have a Ferrari showroom on the grounds of its resort. Amongst all the high-end boutique fashion outlets and celebrity chef-run restaurants the Wynn’s very own Ferrari showroom is a perfect example of how casinos nowadays have changed their business models to try and counter the uprising of their online counterparts. Because online casinos tend to offer cashback rewards and virtual play to their mobile players, among other things, the convenience of playing online eradicates the need to trudge to a nearby casino to play. Thus, land-based casinos such as the Wynn have taken it upon themselves to showcase other sights aside from the many gaming floors they offer to their patrons. Now, things like offering guests the chance to see the world’s most expensive supercar have proved to be ingenious ways of getting a new breed of customer through the casino’s doors.
The Ferrari LaFerrari includes a “6.3L V-12 788hp engine, 7-speed auto-shift manual transmission with overdrive, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), airbag occupancy sensor, automatic air conditioning, 19″ forged aluminum wheels, EF1-Trac ABS and driveline traction control, electronic stability, power mirrors, power windows and power locks,” according to Autobytel. But, let’s not harp on too much about it’s features, when we have something much more interesting to present to you.
