The captivating design of the Research Pavilion at the University of Stuttgart recalls numerous possible connotations because of the characteristic shape. The structure resembles ramified cocoon, highlighted spider-web or biomimetic membrane in a semicircular form. This self-constructed habitat was designed by a team of ICD/ITKE faculty and students. Thanks to the astonishing creation, the building attracts attention with the immaculate construction of carbon-fiber bundles accompanied with a translucent ETFE membrane.
