‘Patterns of Crystallization’, draws inspiration from the simple yet intricate patterns
that can be found in angles, degrees, symmetry and geometry; combined with a construction process that is akin
to drawing geometric shapes with metals. The crystals are the focal point of most of the pieces, thus creating a
randomness procured by the reflection and diffraction of light in a more or less calculated and patterned setting.
Mariella’s signature approach and use of raw materials and shapes is evident throughout the collection. All of the
