Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaigns seem to be on their full escapade with a great diversity of themes that encapsulate our desires for summertime along with first impressions of style inclinations for hot seasons of 2012. The most striking and recurring concept finds source in the vintage inspirations. Additionally, those vintage inspirations do not limit to only one decade but it is a procession of revivals with the 50s supremacy. You may find fashion brands’ exposing their key looks from Spring/Summer 2012 catwalk on imaginative and catchy pictorials emphasizing the signature of the brand with fabulous top models. Here is the selection of my favourite vintage admired Ad Campaigns for Spring/Summer 2012 season:

Dolce & Gabbana created a genuine imagery of Italian life, habits and customs inspired by Old Italian cinematography for Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign. With magnificent, one of a kind Monica Bellucci and Italian beauty Bianca Balti, the womenswear pictorial depicts a hint of the traditional sense of matriarchy in the Italian “famiglia” captured by Giampaolo Sgura. The menswear line is the mastership of photography by Mariano Vivanco. The pictures portray the vibrations and rhythm of the day from Italian man point of view as seen in the iconic Italian movies of Mario Monicelli, Vittorio De Sica, Luchino Visconti and many other geniuses of Italian film making.View the whole Campaign

As Marc Jacobs reported to WWD Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign “is (…) very soft and sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic”. This fashion story reveals the concept of Wonderland patisserie of 1950’s with the saturation of candy adorned interiors photographed by Steven Meisel. The models, Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher dressed up in iconic lace and pastel outfits, look like the images from the dreamy carousel that Louis Vuitton presented during the delightful catwalk for Spring/Summer 2012 season.
